Jenea Wessman

j wessman headshot ImageJenea Wessman has practiced the 8 limbs of Yoga for 11 years now. During that time she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Minor in Counseling, specializing in addiction prevention/treatment. During her formal schooling she learned a great deal about psychology, how the mind works, and most importantly: what holds us back, what makes us thrive, and how do we bridge the gap for those who yearn to rise.

She finds the 8 Limbs of Yoga support these life goals. So she obtained her Yoga certification along with a Social Emotional Learning program development and facilitator certification. She now teaches Yoga classes with these life goals as the focus.

If you are looking to untangle the contrast in your life, to set free your higher self and rise, she encourages you to join her classes. She looks forward to working with you!

Yoga for Peace of Mind classes provide breath work, meditation, asana , affirmations, and are built on the philosophy of Yogi’s from all over the world. They are heavy on explanation to protect the body and help build foundational practice as a beginner. However we will find some heat, expand our range of motion, and opportunities will be provided to expand on your own, to poses that are more complex and already in the practice of a seasoned Yogi. The knowledge content, self love practices, and differentiation based on skill level, makes this class a good option for beginners and the experienced.
