Join LeeAnn Woodrum for an All-Levels Iyengar Yoga class to benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
This is a valuable opportunity to experience a classical Iyengar Yoga class—a style of yoga known for its focus on precision, timing, and use of props to make the practice accessible for everyone.
This class is appropriate for all levels of students. No experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome including BiPOC, all bodies, genders, sexual orientation and ability.
Props to have on hand: Students who are practicing from home should have the following equipment on hand: 2 blocks, yoga mat, a belt or strap, 3 blankets or thick towels. Props are available at the studio for those who are joining in-person. Wear something comfortable so you can move and breath freely. If practicing at home, try to set yourself up in a quiet room where you won’t be disturbed.
Covid-19 Safety Protocol: Masks are required inside The Yoga Center regardless of vaccination status at this time. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
When: Saturday, November 20, 9:30 – 11:00 am
Where: This class is offered in-person at The Yoga Center as well as virtually via Zoom. Space is limited to 10 students for in-person. The practice will be recorded and shared with students. If you are unable to participate at the scheduled time, you’ll receive the recorded practice to do at your leisure. The recorded practice will be available for viewing for 10 days.
Cost: We are accepting monetary donation for The Food Bank of Northern Nevada. We will email you a link to make a donation when you register for the event.
