Rest Deeply Restorative Practice
To Benefit the Caldor Fire Fund
Sunday, September 26, 4 – 6 pm
The Yoga Center Reno
Offered In-person and Online

Join Katie Louvat for a quiet, therapeutic, and nourishing afternoon of restorative yoga. In a relaxed state, your parasympathetic nervous system becomes dominant and the body is able to heal itself, reversing the physiological, mental, and spiritual effects of chronic stress. During this two-hour practice,  Katie will lead you through a combination of supported postures, myofascial release, breath-work and meditation that will leave you feeling rested and renewed.

Props to have on hand: 2 – 3 blankets, 2 blocks, strap, chair, wall, a pinky or tennis ball, and something to cover your eyes. Props are available at the studio for those who are joining in-person. Wear something comfortable so you can move and breath freely. If practicing at home, try to set yourself up in a quiet room where you won’t be disturbed.
